LOVE is about HONOR.
Those with the Love Talent (formerly Server) are patient, devoted, compassionate and caring. Deep, one-on-one connections are essential for them. They are triggered by insensitivity towards others and ensure everyone is respected; they can be fierce protectors. Those with Love who are not expressing well often do “tough love” instead; they are often enmeshed, overly sensitive, caretaking martyrs who drain others’ energy. Those who are more mature in their expression of Love have learned self love and self acceptance as what is first and foremost. This allows them to deeply radiate unconditional and abundant love and care to others.
The Lessons of the Love Talent are shown below:
In Lessons 1 & 2, those with Love can be mean, manipulative martyrs. They don’t know how to receive love themselves. They are bitter. Others haven’t loved them, and they’ve either given up, or they believe that they need to sacrifice themselves to get anything back. Instead of being about love, sometimes they are actually about hate. They reach out to care-take others out of desperation to manipulate them to create connection. They don’t realize that they are doing this. They feel scared, believing subconsciously that if they don’t, they’ll be alone. They make themselves martyrs. And of course, this approach and attitude sometimes further sends people away. They can easily get caught in a downward spiral. They feel their own pain, and sometimes the pain of others, deeply in their hearts.
In Lesson 3 & 4, those with the Love Talent are learning to love themselves. In addition to caring for others, they care for themselves too. They protect underdogs, and they empower underdogs to care for themselves. Because they now honor themselves, they are able to truly honor others. They see the good in everyone and spaciously forgive mistakes. They tend to be empathic, noticing who is in pain or is not getting their needs met. They deeply connect with all living creatures: people, animals and all of nature. They value beauty of life, just as it is, now.
In Lesson 4, those with Love know how to deeply care for themselves, and they do this abundantly. They practice and demonstrate intimacy and deep connection with everyone they meet. Because they love themselves first (they put on their own “oxygen mask” first), they are able to truly unconditionally love others. They are humble, often not wanting any recognition for their contributions.
