OH! Cards are metaphoric cards, two decks used together, one with words and the other with images. They describe a cross between a game and book at http://www.oh-cards-na.com/. They've been made in over 20 languages. I've used them for over 10 years, and they are so lovely, but not well-known. I particularly like that they are mostly gender-neutral and require no previously acquired knowledge to use/play.
They're useful for doing Tarot-like readings, exploring intuition, divination and also group therapy and personal growth. They are most enjoyable with someone you know, so bring a friend from the LGTBQI women's community!!
You'll be participating, not just watching, so be ready to jump in. Each person selects a question or topic, chooses their cards (or their cards choose them), and then does their own reading. Then, if they are willing, others take turns re-arranging the cards to tell a new interpretation about this person's topic. In this way, we all do readings for each other (but it is not necessary to participate each time). In my experience, it is a great way to open to new perspectives.
We'll meet from 5:30-7:30pm at a table at Third Place Books, 17171 Bothell Way NE, #A101, Lake Forest Park, WA 98155. The event is free. There is food you can order for yourself and eat while we play. And if you want even more fun, there is another women's event from 2-5pm called Hand & Foot, a card game.
